This time next week, my sweet little girl will officially be three! I can not believe how fast she is growing and changing.
Over the past year, Abby has enjoyed tumbling, playing with dolls, cooking, taking care of her pets, and all things Paw Patrol. Abby also said her first prayer to God which made her Mama’s heart soar with joy. She prayed “Dear God, I love you. Thank you for our family. Thank you for food. Amen”.
She is incredibly independent and insists on doing most things for herself. Abby has not quite mastered potty training but she is very close!
Some of my favorite Abbyisms from the past year include: “gorfot” (forgot); “ememenade” (lemonade), and saying “I’m pretty stretchy” when she wakes up in the morning and stretches her body. She also emphasizes past tense in her words including “slipp-ed” and “jump-ed”. Even this speech therapist Mommy doesn’t want to fix errors as cute as that!
Abby talks to many invisible friends (often named Ryder). She even blames them for things such as when she burps!
I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by and certainly look forward to her next year of growth and development! Bring on the threenager!
