Last month, Abby, Nana, and I went on a big trip to Disneyland. It was to celebrate Nana’s 60th birthday and we all had so much fun.
We stayed in a great condo that was all decked out Disney-style, so even when we weren’t in Disneyland we were still surrounded by our favorite characters.
Abby went on tons of rides and got to meet so many princesses. Her favorite part of the trip was having breakfast with Ariel, Tiana, Belle, and Cinderella. Who wouldn’t want to have a breakfast like that?
Abby also enjoyed meeting Mickey and Minnie and seeing their houses. Minnie had a fancy dishwasher and stove that Abby did not want to stop playing with.
Unfortunately Abby was a little too short for some rides, so we will have to go back in a few years to enjoy Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Abby asks to go to Disneyland every day, so I’m sure that will be fine with her!
We visited a Bug’s Land, Toontown, and Critter Country. Abby enjoyed Fantasyland the most, where we were able to ride on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, check out It’s A Small World, and see where Sleeping Beauty lives. She also enjoyed the Winnie the Pooh ride in Critter Country. We were lucky enough to go on that ride three times in a row!
Almost every night we were able to enjoy a parade, and based on Abby’s excitement and passion for the parade characters coming through, I have a glimpse into what my life will be like when I take her to a to a concert for whatever boy band is most popular during her teenage years. There was a lot of jumping up-and-down, screaming, and pointing at what character was coming next.
