May Days

May has been a busy month for the Millers!

I celebrated my second mother’s day with a trip to Portland to see my mom (AKA: Abby’s Nana). Matt also cooked me a wonderful meal and took me out for FroYo! It doesn’t get much better than that 🙂

The following weekend we enjoyed a beach trip. It was Abby’s third time to see the ocean but her first time being able to play in the sand. Oh boy, did she love the sand! She loved the feel and taste of it! Who knew sand was yummy? It was a beautiful weekend! We got to enjoy walks on the beach and swimming in the pool as well.

Here is a video of Abby playing in the sand: Abby at the beach

Memorial Day weekend was celebrated with a trip to the Children’s Museum of Portland. That Sunday we enjoyed a BBQ with good friends in our backyard. All of the kids had so much fun running around and playing outside, and Matt had a blast cooking on his traeger (per the usual).

Abby also got to try out her new water color set by painting a picture for her dad as a thank you to him for serving in the military. Painting was so much fun until she realized that she could eat the paint, then it wasn’t so much fun, especially when I took the paintbrush away. I’m so mean!

Summer is just starting and we are already incredibly busy, but we are loving every minute of it!

    Paint, yummy!

I don’t think it is fair that she gets TWO servings of sand, but only ONE serving of paint!
