The Millers had a wonderful Christmas, with Abby in particular enjoying herself 🙂 After enjoying the children’s version of midnight mass (4:00), we had a nice dinner out before settling in for a relaxing evening. Abby absolutely loved her church dress. She twirled and danced all around the living room! She’s a girly-girl for sure.
Matt, Abby, and I spent Christmas morning opening presents at our house, and then Abby and I headed up to Nana’s house to see what Santa had delivered there. What luck! Abby got a new Minnie doll. Mickey Mouse Club is Abby’s new obsession. She calls it “hotdog” based on a hotdog dance they do and generally from sun up to sundown she asks for “hotdog” (I try my best not to give in 😉 ). Other shows like Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood are okay, but nothing beats Mickey Mouse Club.
Abby also got a new lamby and doll that she loves to snuggle. She is very nurturing and loves to feed her baby milk. She usually uses a bottle but has been known to ask me to nurse her babies as well 😉 She received lots of books and puzzles so that she can keep learning.
During the Christmas break, we also had the opportunity to go to the zoo lights which was lots of fun. Abby loved riding the “choo-choo” and talked about it most of the night.
As usual, Abby brought such an immense amount of joy to an already joyous holiday. I am so thankful to have that little girl in my life!
