Spring Break and Easter with a two year old

Church Egg Hunt

These past two weeks have been a flurry of fun adventures for Abby involving visits with grandparents, trips to museums and celebration of the resurrection of Christ. We started our Spring Break visiting Nana for a few days and got to play at Playdate PDX. Abby loved climbing up and down through tunnels and running around gathering and throwing balls. Mom and Nana were worn out way before Abby was! While staying at my mom’s I also got to enjoy sleeping in for a few days. I truly felt spoiled to be able to sleep until 7:30! We lucked out with good weather during the week and were also able to enjoy a trip to Enchanted Forest with cousins Lindsay, Tyler, and Kayla. We rounded out the week visiting the Children’s Museum. Abby loved the new digging exhibit. She was all about loading the “dirt” into the dump trucks and moving it around.

Dyeing eggs

Easter was a joyous holiday celebrated with family. Abby loved dying eggs, particularly dropping eggs into the dye! Saturday morning, I took Abby to Keizer Christian Church for an Easter egg hunt. Nana joined us and Abby loved running around getting the eggs and putting them in the basket. Sunday, we went to church and then had a brunch and Easter egg hunt at the house. Daddy, Grammie and Auntie Alicia had a great time watching Abby look for eggs around the living room before finding three Easter baskets!
